Even in the early 80's you could see Jerry for < $10. Seems the fatter he got the more expensive tickets got. Coincidence? Hmm...........

Price per pound ticketing. I like it. Seems Elvis had that figured out too.

Hah! True story. Saw them in '94 at the Roseland in Portland. Still one of the best times I've had at a concert.

Iggy Pop tickets should be dirt cheap.

Could never afford to see The Fat Boys.

And they both have famous toilets.

One died on his, and the other had his sold at auction after his death. Looks like Jerry indeed flushed his profits down the shitter.

You would think that if Jerry had a SPOON in one hand
and a fork in the other it would balance out...

Wineland-
"Price per pound ticketing" ~ lmao. If thats the case then
Blues Travler owes me a refund.

it was those (early 80's) JGB shows (sometimes with 300 people for $7.50) that I cherish most of everything (100+ dead) I saw

Agreed. I always found the JGB shows I saw to be so much mellower without the frenzied craziness of 80's and on GD shows. Much more enjoyable from an overall experience standpoint. Getting a chance to be in that kind of atmosphere makes me really long to have seen the boys back in the day (you know, WT, before they invented rope...that must have been an exciting day for you).
